“We were involved with a work environment where hours were extreme for many years and the supervisors were firing any employee who noted unsafe or illegal work situations to HR. While we sincerely felt that some sort of action needed to be taken, we had no idea where to start and were frankly very afraid of being fired and losing the family income. Dawn helped us realize that bullying and intimidation are always wrong in the workplace, she then gave us steps to follow and reassured us that if what we were describing was correct and we had documentation all should be fine. She gave us the strength to follow through successfully! “

Dawn is a caring compassionate individual with tremendous firsthand knowledge of bullying and whistleblower retaliation within the Federal Workforce.  After I came forward to Office of Special Counsel in December 2014 as a VA Whistleblower Dawn and I spoke or emailed quite regularly and her wisdom and “go get em” attitude helped me over the next 18 months to see my case through and win so I could get back to helping Veterans.  I will always be grateful to Dawn for her help and consider her a friend.

Dawn Westmoreland has been very informative and inspirational to me while we went through workplace disparities at the MACPAC during the same time frame. I admire Dawn’s bravery and tenacity to go forward and challenge the Prohibited Personal Practices, Hostile Work Environment and Discrimination done to her in the workplace. Many employees suffering from the same issues were afraid to speak up for fear of losing their jobs. Dawn and I knew that if we pursued the injustice, it would not be easy but someday it would not only work out for our good but for the good of others. Dawn consider yourself a champion!

Dawn is a woman to be admired: courageous, supportive, empowering, and empowered. I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing her on blogtalkradio.com/mentalhealthnews and knowing her personally as a good friend. She is one of the first people i think of calling when I need advice around continuing to move forward on my own path of victim, to survivor, to thriver. as a empowerment coach, i can’t think of anyone else I’d rather have on my team. Thank you Dawn.

Dawn has been a source of inspiration for me for the last 7 months. She comes from a space of love and compassion when coaching and asks the most empowering questions that helped me dig deep to find the answers. She is extremely intuitive, is very passionate and an amazing life coach!

This past year I was in a very dark place in my life, when I was blessed to meet Dawn.  I had been the victim of a horrible bully boss who had almost broken my spirit with his mental abuse.  I was broken and defeated.  Meeting Dawn at a local networking event, I was drawn to her easy going manner and positive spirit.  I signed up for her hypnosis sessions which helped me tremendously to get past the pain and hurt trap I was in.  Shortly after, I took a few of her coaching classes, and in them I gained my strength and confidence back!!! To the point that not only have I recovered from my dark place, but I can now look at it as a blessing, because I am now following my passion as an entrepreneur in photography – which is gaining in success!  I could NOT have done any of this without the guidance and support of Dawn Westmoreland.  I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I liked that you take the time to tell your truth in your story!  Particularly, about your mental health story, because it was a pivotal experience that sculpted who you are.  Bravo to you for also being fearless too!

A wonderfully raw and honest speaker.  Dawn speaks without fear and enables her audience to listen without prejudice.

I liked your unwillingness to quit.  Your strong will to do that was right, versus wrong.
